Requirements
- Class A License Required
- Ability to safely operate material handling and delivery equipment
- Compliance with company uniform performance guidelines, including quality, safety, and performance standards
- Adherence to start/closing times, break periods, and overtime policies
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver products to customers and make will-call pick-ups from vendors
- Pick orders, load and unload trucks
- Uphold company core values in dealings with vendors, customers, and employees
- Assume personal accountability for balancing customer delivery demands with company cost containment policies
- Create, build, and maintain respect and loyalty with customers, vendors, and employees
- Ensure all deliveries are made timely and cost-efficiently
- Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with customers and suppliers
- Report all issues and opportunities at customer sites to warehouse manager and OPS manager immediately
- Ensure products are delivered safely and presentably
- Verify incoming and outgoing products meet company specifications and are handled/stored properly
- Ensure correct order pulling and timely delivery, meeting all customer delivery dates
- Report status of late deliveries to Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, or General Manager
- Follow established safety, quality, and performance standards
- Make recommendations for better methods, systems, and procedures
- Attend monthly meetings to assess safety, quality control, and efficient material handling
- Handle pallet pick-up and exchange with customers and vendors
- Perform all other duties as required by Warehouse Manager
