Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent and related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
  • Good oral and written communication skills (preferred)
  • Previous experience using PC, database system, and related software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) (preferred)
  • Previous experience working in health claims (CAS or ConnectsNX) (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete the required basic training
  • Perform basic job functions with help from co-workers, specialists, and managers on non-basic issues
  • Learn the activities/tasks associated with the role
  • Work under direct supervision and rely on others for instruction, guidance, and direction
  • Have work reviewed for technical accuracy and soundness
  • Code and process claims forms for payment, ensuring all information is supplied before eligible payments are made
  • Research and analyze claims issues
