Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent and related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
- Good oral and written communication skills (preferred)
- Previous experience using PC, database system, and related software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) (preferred)
- Previous experience working in health claims (CAS or ConnectsNX) (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Successfully complete the required basic training
- Perform basic job functions with help from co-workers, specialists, and managers on non-basic issues
- Learn the activities/tasks associated with the role
- Work under direct supervision and rely on others for instruction, guidance, and direction
- Have work reviewed for technical accuracy and soundness
- Code and process claims forms for payment, ensuring all information is supplied before eligible payments are made
- Research and analyze claims issues
