Requirements

  • Experience in producing cutscenes or event scenes in game development (preferred)
  • Character animation skills using 3DCG tools such as Maya or MotionBuilder
  • Strong passion for creating high-end CG
  • Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork abilities with other departments

Responsibilities

  • Previsualization (Previs) Production: Create visual previs based on storyboards and scripts. Bring the director’s and game designer’s vision for cinematic presentation to life and share it with the entire team
  • Cutscene Animation Production: Using motion capture data as a base, produce scene layouts, character animations, and camera animations in 3DCG tools, and implement them into the game engine
  • In-Game Event Scene Production: Produce highly interactive in-game cinematics, such as story-driven conversations and camera work during gameplay actions. Create character animations and camera movements to depict an immersive game world
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Proactively communicate with directors, lighting, VFX, sound, and other departments to deliver higher-quality game visuals
