Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board in the state of practice within 120 Days
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
Ability to work the specified hours: 2:30pm-11:00pm; every other weekend/holiday rotation (Part time, Afternoon Shift)

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to residents with their activities of daily living
Performs routine duties and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff, including assisting with bathing, dressing, shaving, oral hygiene, bed making, transfers, repositioning, toileting, serving/collecting food trays, feeding, answering call lights, maintaining a clean environment, transporting patients, assisting with ambulation, and orienting/reorienting residents
Performs blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, and weight measurements; documents concise and factual information on appropriate forms
Performs or assists residents in specific medical care activities per policy/procedure, including restorative exercises, collecting specimens, assessing/documenting completed cares, and providing immediate feedback to nursing staff on resident status changes, pain management, or concerns
Assists with restocking supplies and maintaining appropriate work environment, including cleaning procedures
Participates in providing emotional, educational, and spiritual support for families
Complies with all aspects of resident rights, including confidentiality and privacy; reports allegations of resident abuse or misappropriation of property
Follows established policies/procedures for fire, tornado, evacuation, disaster plans, universal precautions, infection control, and hazardous/chemical communication; maintains a clean and safe environment for residents, families, and staff
