HazMat Retail Driver - CDL (A)

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record, and be able to read, write, and communicate in English. They must also be able to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly, and demonstrate flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior experience as a customer delivery driver, hand cart/hand truck operator, or in the food and beverage industry is preferred, along with a consistent work history of at least two years.
The CDL A Delivery Truck Driver will safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies, to customer locations according to an assigned route schedule. They will build relationships with customers, familiarize themselves with their operations, and meet their needs and expectations. The driver will also manually unload products at customer locations and maintain a positive, friendly attitude. Additionally, they will participate in ongoing job skills and leadership development training, and adhere to safety programs.
