Requirements

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and maintain a clean driving record. They are required to be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, and demonstrate the ability to manually lift and move product weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly. Applicants must also pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen, and have a preference for one year of customer delivery experience, six months of hand cart/hand truck experience, and six months of food and beverage experience, along with a consistent two-year work history.

Responsibilities

The CDL A Delivery Truck Driver will safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies, to customer locations according to a scheduled route. They will build relationships with customers, familiarize themselves with their operations, and meet their needs and expectations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude. Drivers will also conduct manual unloading of products and may be required to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed, and participate in ongoing job skills and leadership development training.
