Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a data scientist
  • Experience in time-series analysis, forecasting, regression models, and segmentation
  • Ability to gather insights from data and generate action items
  • Exposure to multiple different projects
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with standard ML approaches, LLMs, and GenAI (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Identify suitable data sources, perform initial quality checks, and support prioritization of requirements
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, design experiments, test hypotheses, and finalize experiment dimensions
  • Select appropriate analytical modeling techniques for structured, complex data and develop custom analytical models
  • Assess and validate models using best practices for testing and tuning to ensure accuracy, fit, validity, and robustness
  • Test developed software, translate business requirements into projects and tasks, and align activities with business strategy
  • Act as a conduit between business needs and tangible solutions, connecting stakeholders with results
  • Execute projects from discovery to solution design, model building, and results communication
  • Recommend new processes and ways of working
  • Present to and influence team members and business audiences using appropriate frameworks
  • Lead projects and provide guidance to junior data scientists
  • Supervise junior data scientists and review their work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Drive a data-driven culture by leveraging data to understand customer behavior, improve operational efficiencies, and provide actionable insights
