Requirements

  • Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods
  • Familiar with IPC-A-620 standards
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields
  • Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components
  • Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills
  • U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158 (to comply with ITAR)

Responsibilities

  • Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections at one or more client suppliers in Denton, TX
  • Ensure products meet quality and specification standards
  • Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications
  • Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.)
  • Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects
  • Interpret manufacturing drawings and identify non-conformances
  • Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules
  • Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized
