Requirements

Knowledge of engineering concepts and skills in the specified engineering specialty (C++)
Ability to apply process design and redesign skills
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
Ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary

Responsibilities

Plan and design new software and web applications
Complete programming and implement, test, and debug defined software components
Review, write, and edit code
Conduct analysis to determine integration needs
Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software design evaluation plans, test results, and technical manuals
Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to assigned projects
Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specifications and technical requirements
Apply full use of engineering methodologies related to area of engineering specialty
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
