Requirements

  • Strong data visualization techniques and software skills, preferably in Tableau
  • Strong understanding of relational database methodology, data structures, data pipelines, and exploratory querying using SQL and Python
  • Ability to navigate and combine disparate data sources to answer complex business questions and visualize data that provides actionable insights
  • Strong process development and technical documentation skills – ability to adhere to established development and planning standards, team processes, and set expectations with partners

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools that showcase insights and business intelligence using technologies such as SQL and Python, within the Dataiku, Snowflake, and Tableau environments
  • Mine for insights and conduct analysis of key performance indicators and trends in first- and third-party data
  • Present insights and opportunities to the CE organization
  • Build data pipelines that transform data into actionable operational dashboards, reports, and tools using data visualization techniques
  • Develop plans and timelines for individual projects by working in agile framework to deliver work products in sprints
  • Leverage tools such as Jira to track and catalog work
  • Act consultatively between Disney business teams and technology partners to surface insights and recommendations that improve marketing effectiveness
  • Work with leadership to elevate opportunities, mentor less senior cast, and develop solutions in partnership with other teams
