Requirements
- Submit a complete application including all work history with dates, job skills, and education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- At least 12 months of continuous work history with the same employer within the last 18 months
- Two (2) years of work experience or education in at least one of the following: Carpentry, 110/220 electrical, Concrete masonry, Pipe insulation, Painting, Plumbing
- Capable of communicating well both verbally and in writing with all levels of team members from Hourly to upper Management and Government Officials
- Able to read manuals and printed directions to repair equipment and use cleaners, solvents, and paints
- Willing and able to work any department or shift
- Willing and able to work weekends and holidays
- Willing and able to lift up to 60 plus pounds as necessary
- Willing and able to stand 8 to 12 hours a day on hard floors
- Willing and able to work in confined spaces and at heights above the normal work area (use of ladders, lifts, and scaffolds)
- Able to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures
- Able to complete computerized training programs and use Tyson SAP software to document work orders
- Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson must have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
