Physician Reviewer - Independent Contractor

Position Overview

Dane Street, a leading Independent Review Organization and national provider of Group Health Review services, is expanding its physician panel. This telework opportunity offers physicians a chance to earn supplemental income through non-traditional work, with a caseload customized to your schedule. As an independent contract reviewer (1099), you will be compensated on a per-case basis.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Medical License
• Active Practice
• Board Certified

Responsibilities

• Address the medical necessity of treatment requests.
• In appeals, address the medical necessity of previously denied services.

Work Details

• Location Type: Remote
• Workplace: Remote
• Average Review Time: 10-15 minutes per case
• Workload: Caseload customized to your schedule; possibility to complete several cases within an hour.
• Training: Less than 1 week for training and onboarding.
• Compensation: Per-case basis.
