- Minimum of two years’ experience in jewelry repairs
- Demonstrated proficiency and skill in sizing, chain repair, prong and stone setting repairs, stone tightening, shank work, all types of stone setting, and polishing or other finishing techniques
- Must have laser welding experience
- Must have experience using a microscope
- Must be able to read and understand instructions to complete repairs
- Must be willing to train and share knowledge and experience
- Must be organized and able to communicate with others
- Must pass a bench test
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of invisible set repairs (a plus)
- Production experience (a plus)
- Experience in laser engraving (a plus)
Responsibilities
- Service and repair clients' jewelry while providing excellent quality and turnaround time, following all posted processes to bring damaged jewelry up to the standards required
- Responsible for the safe accountability of various gemstones, diamonds, metal used in repairs, and customers' jewelry
- Be able to perform 20 repairs per day to meet goals and objectives
