Position Overview

We are seeking a Backend Tech Lead excited to lead development on a high-scale product using C# and AWS, thriving in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.

What You’ll Work On

  • Develop and optimize RESTful APIs in C#, supporting a modern React/Redux web app.
  • Lead feature development and cloud architecture improvements in AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift).
  • Contribute to our CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with designers, QA, and product managers to build features that scale.
  • Own performance, availability, and security of backend services used by enterprise clients.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of backend experience (preferably C#), focused on data-heavy applications.
  • Strong understanding of scalable systems, microservices, and software design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance optimization for large datasets.
  • Passion for clean code, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • English fluency, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, remote team.

Your First 90 Days

  • Day 1–30: Learn the codebase, tools, and team practices. Tackle a few well-scoped tasks.
  • Day 31–60: Independently deliver features. Get active in code reviews. Share input during planning.
  • Day 61–90: Lead development on a major feature. Own performance, testing, and delivery. Start influencing roadmap and architecture.
