The Team

You will join a remote crew of engineers, product thinkers, and designers who:

• Care about writing clean, testable code.
• Enjoy discussing systems, performance, and architecture.
• Believe in async-first work, deep focus time, and short meetings.
• Are passionate about building developer-centric tools.

We are focused on shipping product, not PowerPoints.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve our backend using Python and TypeScript (Node.js).
• Design and scale REST APIs for high-performance data operations.
• Utilize AWS tools such as Lambda, S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB to power our platform.
• Help shape our infrastructure using Terraform and the Serverless Framework.
• Collaborate across product, design, and QA to deliver seamless features.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with a backend language (e.g., Python, Java, C). Our primary stack is Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with REST APIs.
• A strong focus on performance, code clarity, and complexity reduction.
• Ability to write code that is well-regarded by peers.
• Strong English communication skills for effective remote collaboration.

Your First 90 Days

• Day 1–30: Set up your environment, explore the tech stack, fix a small issue, and push code to production.
• Day 31–60: Take ownership of a feature, work closely with QA, and demonstrate your code.
• Day 61–90: Lead a feature development, deploy it, resolve bugs, and submit high-quality Pull Requests.
