Requirements

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or a master’s degree in a related field. Experience with Python and Django is preferred, as is experience with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a basic understanding of security requirements are necessary. Experience in the energy industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer I will execute tasks under guidance, leveraging fundamental software engineering principles with Python, Django, Postgres, and frontend technologies. They will translate specifications into completed projects, enhance code quality by contributing unit tests and resolving integration issues, and conduct code reviews. Responsibilities also include collaborating cross-departmentally, updating project stakeholders on work status, and participating in agile ceremonies.
