Requirements

  • Deep expertise in Python development with modern async patterns, performance optimization, and scalable service architecture
  • Proven ability to design complex distributed systems with strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP) and cloud-native patterns
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL, query optimization, efficient schema design
  • Hands-on experience architecting AWS solutions (ECS, Lambda, S3)
  • Product engineering mindset: ability to balance technical excellence with user impact, turning complex requirements into elegant, maintainable systems
  • Builds systems with comprehensive monitoring, logging, and self-healing capabilities that support rapid debugging and iteration
  • Bonus: Infrastructure as code (CloudFormation/Terraform), message queuing systems, security expertise (IAM, encryption), containerization, and reactive programming experience

  • Design Distributed Systems: create resilient, high-performance architectures using modern async patterns, caching strategies, and cloud-native solutions
  • Drive Product Impact: collaborate across teams to translate user needs into robust backend systems that enable breakthrough conversational experiences and insights extraction
