Responsibilities

The Backend Engineer will contribute to complex cross-functional projects focused on data pipelines and application performance, collaborating with various teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience and building and maintaining data pipelines with a focus on data retrieval and efficiency. They will also contribute to the optimization of APIs, data architecture, and infrastructure, as well as utilizing analytics and monitoring/observability tools to understand system behavior and identify areas for optimization, and collaborate with other engineering teams to implement improvements in process, practice, and engineering culture centered around strong data foundations.
