Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience as a Back-End Engineer, with knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker. Experience with Node.js, Postgres/MySQL, RabbitMQ/Nats/Kafka, infrastructure, and observability/monitoring tools is required. Strong system design, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills are essential, along with excellent communication skills for orchestrating projects across multiple teams. Experience building CI/CD pipelines is also necessary, and experience with Internal Developer Platforms and tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Back-End Engineer will work on the edge between DevOps and engineering, enforcing standards and best practices. This role involves creating tooling, maintaining internal libraries, providing architectural guidance, owning high-loaded core services, and responding to production incidents. The position requires a blend of 65% engineering and 35% DevOps responsibilities, focusing on building a platform to enable product teams to ship business value faster.
