Deep expertise in Azure Government cloud infrastructure and services
Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
Experience with containerization and Kubernetes, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Knowledge of government security compliance requirements (CMMC, FedRAMP, ITAR)
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
Experience with Microsoft 365 GCC High integration, including hybrid identity solutions with Azure AD and O365 GCC High
Familiarity with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning)
Skills in network security, including Palo Alto Networks firewalls, VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN, and ExpressRoute
Ability to implement monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
Experience with AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) setup and maintenance

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Azure Government cloud infrastructure and services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases
Ensure compliance with government security requirements (CMMC, FedRAMP, ITAR)
Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, cost optimization, governance policies, RBAC, and security best practices
Set up and maintain AVD
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar
Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
Automate deployment processes, operational tasks, testing, and validation for infrastructure
Deploy and manage AKS clusters in Azure Government, including orchestration, scaling, monitoring, security, vulnerability scanning, and application deployments
Integrate Azure services with Office 365 GCC High, manage hybrid identity, develop Power Automate workflows, and ensure interoperability
Implement and manage Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning) compliant with government standards; support data science and engineering teams
Configure and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls, network segmentation, VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN connections, and ExpressRoute
Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents
Implement monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
Perform capacity planning and performance tuning
