Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud-native application development, technical consulting, and leading customer-facing projects. A minimum of 4 years of experience in Azure technologies is required, along with proficiency in programming languages like Python or C# and experience building intelligent apps using Azure AI services. Strong understanding of Azure architecture, including App Services, Functions, Storage, Networking, and DevOps practices, is essential. Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Blazor, or Vue, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform are also necessary. Highly desirable are Azure technical certifications and exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

The Azure AI Applications Engineer will architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance AI applications using Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning. They will design and develop full-stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native patterns, and lead the integration of Azure App Services, Functions, and Storage into intelligent solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams on solution architecture, DevOps pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code, as well as providing strategic consulting and technical leadership to clients on AI adoption and app modernization. Additionally, the engineer will mentor junior team members and contribute to practice development through reusable patterns and thought leadership.
