Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with all relevant endorsements
- 3 years commercial driving experience with ability to drive manual transmission (10 & 13 speed)
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles, including delivery trucks, tank trucks, over-the-road trucks
- Load trailers and plan schedule based on customer orders to meet customer delivery requirements
- Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all times
- Perform daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date delivery location maps, and operate in accordance with regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials
- Maintain driver's hours of service by using Samsara ELD reporting
- Maintain regular communication with sales and supervisor to report field problems and/or safety hazards
- Work closely with sales team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Wear appropriate safety gear during delivery operations
- Keep current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills
- Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment

Is there a signing bonus for this position?
Yes, the successful candidate will be eligible for a $5,000 Signing Bonus.
What is the base location and travel requirements for this role?
The position is based out of Burlington, ON with travel through Ontario including Sarnia, Sudbury, Belleville, Toronto, and some out-of-province travel to Quebec as needed. Scheduled deliveries are Monday to Friday with up to 3 to 4 nights of overnight travel per week.
What are the minimum qualifications for this driver position?
