Requirements

  • Proven ability to engineer complex video wall solutions for commercial, command & control, retail, corporate, or large-format environments

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end AV solutions, with a primary focus on large-format video wall systems, LED walls, LCD arrays, and multi-display configurations
  • Develop detailed system schematics, signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and layout drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software
  • Specify all AV components including processors, controllers, displays, signal distribution, network switches, mounts, control systems, cabling, and power requirements
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to interpret client requirements and translate them into technical designs and budgets
  • Perform system calculations such as pixel density, viewing distance, brightness, aspect ratios, heat loads, and electrical needs
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards including AVIXA, NEC, ADA, and manufacturer specifications
  • Work closely with project managers and installation teams to support system commissioning, troubleshooting, and change control during implementation
  • Review site conditions and conduct on-site assessments as needed to confirm mounting structure, room conditions, and installation feasibility
  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), engineering submittals, and technical documentation
  • Stay up to date on emerging video wall technologies, processors, control systems, and AV networking trends
