Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan
Experience with small animal and/or exotic animal medicine preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive veterinary care to small animal and exotic patients
Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses and injuries, and develop treatment plans
Perform surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
Utilize hospital equipment, including digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, laser therapy, pulse (cloud-based software), in-house labs, and ultrasound
Maintain accurate medical records
Participate in hospital team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment
