Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA being a plus, and a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in investment accounting, particularly with renewable energy investments. Public accounting experience is also preferred, along with strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP.
The Associate, Investment Accounting will prepare the monthly ledger reconciliations to validate the accuracy of investment results from third-party administrators, prepare GAAP 10Q/K investment disclosures, work cross functionally to recognize complex investment acquisitions and dispositions, perform monthly investment and suspense reconciliations, conduct month-end closing procedures, perform control functions in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and NAIC Model Audit Rule, prepare monthly management reports, oversee SPV activity, perform ad hoc analysis, and collaborate with functional teams and auditors.
