Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in Economics, Political Science or Finance
Up to 2 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical skills
Interest in applying economic principles to real-world challenges
Curious mindset, outstanding problem solver with a can-do attitude, eager to learn
Ability to think conceptually and out of the box, tackling wicked problems pragmatically while delivering innovative solutions
Ability to work with quantitative and qualitative data, including unstructured information
Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights

Prior experience in economic analysis, consulting, or similar roles (beneficial but not required)
Research experience (valued)
Familiarity with ESG concepts, particularly in M&A (advantage but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key)
Responsibilities
Contribute to a wide variety of projects helping clients make strategic, data-driven decisions
Work on high-impact projects in areas such as industry analysis, benchmarking, investment screening, and impact assessment
Focus on sustainability economics, including life cycle assessments, carbon abatement curves, and design of innovative indicators for social and environmental outcomes
Contribute to macroeconomic analyses and shape Deloitte’s perspectives on global and national economic outlook
Design innovative analytical work that drives strategic decision-making and addresses complex, real-world challenges
Take the lead on projects, influencing their design and execution, with significant ownership and responsibility
Collaborate with a global network of 400+ economists to deliver impactful and data-driven solutions
