Requirements

Master's Degree and 1+ years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Some experience with modeling and simulating electronic components, RF electronics and circuits (desired)
Experience with different families of FPGAs, DSPs, or microcontrollers (desired)
Working familiarity with Python, C and MATLAB; Simulink is a plus
Understanding of basic circuit theory, electromagnetics, and digital signal processing
Familiarity with RF and high-speed digital test equipment
Working knowledge of RF components for communication and radar systems (a plus)
Ability to interact professionally with program managers, co-workers, customers
Ability to operate complex electronic equipment
Ability to perform detailed analyses of integrated circuits, and prepare written and oral presentations
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Proficiency in use of computers, engineering workstations, complex electronic equipment, oral and written communication, interaction with vendors/colleagues
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability and willingness to travel 20% of time

Responsibilities

Contribute technical expertise and work within a focused team that designs, fabricates, integrates and tests RF and millimeter wave subsystems
Work closely with scientists and engineers to provide support in developing state of the art RF subsystems for communication, radar and sensing applications
Solve customer problems
Write invention disclosures
Publish papers
Brief customers
Participate in proposal activities
Assist in marketing HRL expertise
