5+ years of professional experience in Android development
Leadership/managerial experience, including participation in performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, and helping the team grow
Ability to communicate technical complexities to non-technical stakeholders (POs, designers, backend, web teams, etc.)

Responsibilities

Team management of Android Engineers
Contribute to development for Saily Android app, including interacting with backend REST APIs, providing mobile-specific feedback, and collaborating with web, backend, and UX teams to build new features and enhance existing ones
Coordinate with Product Owners and QA/Support teams to maintain high quality standards for the Android app
Debug and resolve issues reported by users and internal testing teams
Identify and plan to reduce technical debt
Improve app performance, testing culture, prioritize security, and ensure smooth app operation (e.g., startup, animations)
Stay up to date with cutting-edge tools, approaches, and methodologies to ensure excellent code quality
