Requirements

  • Previous experience in a data collection/processing role in a similar domain or at a financial data business
  • High attention to detail with previous experience in data quality control techniques, requirements and processes
  • Strong interest or understanding of the alternative assets industry or financial markets
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and communication skills
  • Fluent in Japanese/Mandarin with excellent written and communication skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI/Qlik/Tableau
  • Experienced in using Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Office 365
  • Experience with MS Power Automate/VBA/Python/SQL
  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a team of subject matter experts focused on ensuring data quality meets and exceeds customer expectations at all times
  • Execute quality control and data governance processes to ensure Preqin’s data is accurate, comprehensive, relevant and up to date
  • Identify data quality issues and themes by conducting quality control assessments of Preqin profiles
  • Leverage technology and tools to analyze and report data quality issues as well as recommend and implement remediation plans
  • Develop subject matter expertise to enhance data offering
