Candidates must be US citizens and possess an active/current TS/SCI clearance. A Bachelor’s degree in a national security or equivalent field is required, along with a combined total of 8 years of experience in the Intelligence Community or DoD, including writing and briefing for IC/DoD customers. Five years of all-source intelligence experience in IC or DoD, including writing and briefing for IC/DoD customers, is also necessary, as is four years’ IC or DoD experience in respective Areas of Responsibility (AORs). Two years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on the production of intelligence analysis, and one year’s experience utilizing ArcGIS are required. Furthermore, five years’ experience utilizing all-source Intelligence Community tools and applications (Trident, TAC, etc.) is essential.
The All-Source Analyst will analyze and integrate multiple areas of national security interests, including military and political developments, intentions, and implications. They will assess and integrate foreign military and political trends, perceptions, and goals as related to SOF mission areas, and provide fused intelligence bridging geospatial and SCA analysis for strategic, operational, and tactical level planning and operations. Analysts will respond to assigned RFIs by researching, analyzing, and producing finished intelligence, including Intelligence Studies, Desk Notes, PowerPoint briefings, and Intelligence Highlights or SOF Intelligence Bulletins at required classification levels. They will conduct in-depth research using classified and unclassified data sources to locate and analyze available intelligence in support of PAS requirements, and collaborate with multiple internal and external POCs to ensure all aspects of a research effort are incorporated. Analysts will identify information gaps and develop source-directed requirements (SDR) or identify alternate sources to garner information, and HQ SOCOM analysts will produce 12 products per quarter, at least two of which are near- or mid-term assessments. TSOC PAS analysts will assist in the production of a minimum of six acceptable products per year, and will support the Geospatial and SCA analysts in research and discovery to provide the common operational view.
