Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory data, including sales history, demand patterns, and market trends, to forecast future inventory requirements accurately
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and production schedules
  • Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy
  • Develop and maintain regular inventory reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, stock-outs, excess inventory, and service levels
  • Collaborate with sourcing, sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory replenishment strategies, ensure timely stock availability, and manage inbound/outbound material flow
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and refinement of inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Utilize inventory management software and ERP systems to track, manage, and report on inventory
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce carrying costs, minimize waste, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency
  • Participate in creation of stocking strategies aligned with business needs and departmental goals
  • Support new product introductions and phase-outs by managing inventory transitions effectively
  • Communicate inventory status, potential issues, and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders
