The Charge Nurse coordinates and schedules direct patient care staff for Acute Dialysis treatments, ensures compliance with policies and regulations, performs quality audits, assesses patient needs, and oversees dialysis treatments and emergency functions.

The role requires experience as an Inpatient Services RN, expertise in Acute Dialysis Services, ability to coordinate staff and scheduling using the TAP tool, knowledge of ACES documentation and compliance monitoring, and skills in quality assessment, patient care assessment, and collaboration with physicians.

The Charge Nurse works under limited supervision, receives general instructions on new assignments, and escalates issues to the Program Manager as needed, while submitting reports like TAP tool results to the Program Manager.

A strong candidate is an experienced Inpatient Services RN who can act as a subject matter expert, independently handle routine tasks with limited supervision, ensure regulatory compliance, and effectively coordinate staff and patient care in acute dialysis settings.
