Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience as an Inpatient Services RN in Acute Dialysis
  • Ability to apply considerable complex knowledge under limited supervision
  • Proficiency with tools like TAP scheduling tool and ACES documentation system
  • Knowledge of company policies, state/federal regulations, and Joint Commission requirements
  • Physical ability to perform desk work, personal computer work, and essential functions (reasonable accommodations for disabilities)

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert and resource for staff on assigned Inpatient Center treatment floor
  • Coordinate and schedule direct patient care staff for Acute Dialysis treatments in contracted hospitals/facilities using TAP tool
  • Maintain and review daily TAP tool, submit results to Program Manager
  • Ensure all Acute treatments follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure accurate real-time documentation of patient treatments in ACES and monitor daily ACES compliance
  • Perform Quality Assessment and Improvement (QAI) audits and participate in QAI meetings
  • Assess daily patient care needs, communicate with physicians, and implement care/treatment changes
  • Perform Acute treatments per Charge Nurse Guidance and oversee dialysis-related medical/emergency functions
  • Communicate with physicians and healthcare team to interpret, adjust, triage, and complete patient care plans
  • Coordinate with technical staff for machine maintenance, repairs, infection control, water testing, equipment transport, and supply logging
  • Serve as liaison between hospital/facility administrative staff and Program Manager
  • Practice cost containment strategies for medical supplies and personnel
  • Review and comply with Code of Business Conduct, company policies, and all laws/regulations
  • Assist with various projects as assigned by Program Manager
  • Escalate issues to Program Manager as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
