Requirements

Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related discipline
Willing to pursue membership in a recognised actuarial society
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
Work well both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Coding experience in SQL or other programming languages desirable

Responsibilities

Providing the business with the actuarial support they require to profitably grow their business and take remedial action where needed
Supporting the development, alignment, and execution of portfolio strategies
Contribute to the Monthly and Quarterly Business Review process and other key senior Management Information requests
Work with other actuarial teams to help coordinate the international actuarial loss ratio planning process, including helping to ensure Loss Ratio Walks contain the required metrics
Support the review of budget UK loss ratios and any ad hoc analyses, including IO/PO Budget process
Helping with ad hoc actuarial analyses and requests as required
Support the Actuarial relationship with external auditors and independent reserve reviewers
Compliance with key regulatory and risk management procedures
