Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in accounting
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Resident of NY, NJ, or CT
- Commitment to 3 months, 3 days a week, 10AM–6PM, in-person at HQ in Chelsea, NYC (January through April)
Responsibilities
- Assist Accounting Manager with balance sheet reconciliations
- Support Accounts Payable with vendor statement reconciliations
- Help complete bank reconciliations
- Aid with document retrieval for year-end audit
- Support with credit card reconciliations
- Provide assistance to the Tax Manager with document retrieval for sales tax compliance
- Assist Global Controller on ad-hoc projects
