Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in accounting
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Resident of NY, NJ, or CT
  • Commitment to 3 months, 3 days a week, 10AM–6PM, in-person at HQ in Chelsea, NYC (January through April)

Responsibilities

  • Assist Accounting Manager with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support Accounts Payable with vendor statement reconciliations
  • Help complete bank reconciliations
  • Aid with document retrieval for year-end audit
  • Support with credit card reconciliations
  • Provide assistance to the Tax Manager with document retrieval for sales tax compliance
  • Assist Global Controller on ad-hoc projects
