Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Art or related field, with more than 5 years of experience in 3D scene production
Familiar with the open-world next-generation scene development process
Possess good communication and expression skills
Solid artistic foundation, with good design and modeling capabilities
Excellent perception of composition, color, light and shadow relationships, and atmosphere creation
Strong aesthetic control ability regarding overall composition, terrain representation, and model object matching
Experience in AAA game production, with rich experience in large map editing
Familiar with the level design workflow
Proficient in UE4 or UE5
Experience in creating TOD (Time of Day) related content and familiar with the related process
Passion for games and game culture
Strong learning ability and a pursuit of excellence in work
Good stress resistance and team collaboration skills, able to withstand certain work pressure

Responsibilities

Coordinate with TA to build the global lighting environment, including time of day (Time of day)
Establish the lighting production process for the open world, jointly researching and developing lighting modules and related toolchains with TA
Create outdoor lighting for the large world, including weather changes
Create indoor lighting benchmarks and build a standardized process for indoor lighting
Collaborate with the ecology team and TA to research and integrate related changes after weather conditions change, including material changes
Coordinate with TA to research and develop related features such as volumetric fog and wind fields
Closely collaborate with the planning and programming teams to meet development needs
Create lighting for out-of-game characters and related animation lighting
Develop and deliver lighting plans according to schedule
