Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year Refrigeration/HVAC experience or enrolled in Refrigeration/HVAC school for training in Refrigeration/HVAC Certification
- Willing and able to complete all required skilled trades training necessary within the required time period
- Able and willing to follow all operational procedures and safety rules
- Provide Social Security Number on application
- Willing to complete all required training for the job and perform any other duties assigned
- Able to work in various positions and walk and stand on hard surfaces for up to twelve (12) hours
- Able to work outdoors and indoors in a mixed environment (extreme cold/hot, wet/dry, temperatures from 0 to 115 degrees)
- Schedules are not Monday thru Friday, may vary and may require overtime and holidays
Responsibilities
- Keep machinery running to maintain continuous Refrigeration and production temperatures
- Repair and maintain the operating conditions of machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot problems that occur in the day-to-day operation of the refrigeration system
- Perform work involving Ammonia Refrigeration, boiler, fresh/waste water systems, pneumatics, electricity, mechanics in general, and some welding
- Set up, inspect, adjust, and break down machinery in the facility
- Complete daily documentation that is required
