Requirements

Candidates must have a Service Design or related design degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026. They should possess 0-2 years of experience in service design or a related field, strong presentation, storytelling, and communication skills, and experience in facilitation and workshop development. Research skills to uncover employee needs and challenges, the ability to prototype and design concepts using various tools like Miro, Figma, and Adobe products, and strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities are also required.

Responsibilities

The Junior Service Designer will craft and deliver compelling stories and design solutions to communicate insights, concepts, plans, and impact. They will analyze service journeys, propose recommendations for user experience or operational improvements, and support the alignment between user experience and backend processes. Responsibilities include planning and implementing studies to uncover pain points using quantitative and qualitative approaches, identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes with technology, and collaborating with UX designers to prototype and evaluate service experiences. The role also involves facilitating workshops, defining success metrics for service design initiatives, and advocating for the benefits of service design within the organization.
