Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
Hold a valid motor vehicle license
Must be available to start May 27th for a minimum of 10-12 weeks
Responsibilities
Calibration and repair of Test Equipment such as power system simulators used to maintain relay systems required for regulatory compliance
Reviewing Test Equipment inventory and managing repairs with original equipment manufacturers
Work with supervision to ensure job aids, engineering documentation, material, and test equipment is available for task execution
Shadow Field Engineers and Supervisors in the field conducting relay maintenance, troubleshooting, and construction commissioning activities in the substations
Exposure to troubleshooting, maintaining and commissioning protection and control schemes and electrical power apparatus associated with the Bulk Electric System and Distribution System
Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs (Emergency Restoration assignment)
