2026 Intern - Electrical Engineer at Westlake

Candidates must have completed their second year of college, be majoring in Electrical Engineering, have a 3.0 or higher GPA, and be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The internship is based at Westlake's PEM plant locations in the United States: Lake Charles LA, Plaquemine LA, Geismar LA, Longview TX, Natrium WV, Deer Park TX, and Calvert City KY.

Interns work on assigned projects under close supervision, observe department activities, assist with day-to-day tasks, participate in safety/environmental programs, maintain a work journal, and present to the management team.

This is a full-time internship at specific plant locations, involving office work and operating units that require PPE, with possible exposure to noise, outside elements, stairs, elevators, and occasional travel.
