Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or electrical engineering
  • Excellent programming skills in at least 1 compiled language (C++, C#, Rust) and Python
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms
  • Strong applied mathematical background to understand the various aspects of the models
  • Experience with database languages such as SQL
  • The ability to communicate software design and development ideas clearly and succinctly
  • Creative problem-solving skills and experience working with real-world datasets
  • Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and test derivatives analytics library and framework
  • Collaborate with traders and quant researchers to deploy new pricing models and enhance existing analytics
  • Improve risk analytics for real-time trading and risk management
  • Work on end-to-end derivatives platform including market and reference data integration
  • Perform model testing and validation
  • Calculate Greeks
  • Seek solutions to improve model performance, numerical stability, and computational efficiency
  • Report to Lead Architect and work collaboratively
