Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Uses the JD Edwards system to input receivers, loads and unloads trucks, retrieves and stores materials in the warehouse, counts and boxes parts, and makes necessary inventory transactions
  • Uses computer for specific programs and websites
  • Reports shortages and damaged materials
  • Selects routing and carrier when not specified by customer
  • Arranges for pick-up carrier utilizing websites, phone, and email
  • Makes out bills of lading, following standard procedures
  • Loads and unloads trucks
  • Uses hand trucks and power trucks to move materials
  • Counts and boxes production utilizing scales or similar packaging equipment
  • Maintains cleanliness of department and immediate outside area
  • Prepares shipment documentation for outgoing parts and finished products
  • Schedules 3rd party trucks and coordinates customer pick-ups
  • Completes shipping transactions in system
  • Coordinates all daily customer shipments per their scheduled ship dates ensuring inventory integrity and accuracy
  • Receives incoming material and processes receiving receipts in a timely and accurate basis
  • Helps with cycle count processes and proper inventory management
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
