Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Transportation Design, Vehicle Design, Automotive Design or a related field
  • Strong ability to work on both exterior and interior design
  • Technical knowledge of prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes as it relates to vehicles (plus)
  • High level of skill taking 2D sketches to 3D modeling in poly modeling and Alias
  • Excellent at creating and maintaining cross-functional working relationships
  • Exceptional visual and oral communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple parallel-path projects
  • All candidates MUST submit a portfolio/personal website to be considered for this position
  • Ability to comprehend aviation experiential technology and its foray into general consumer electronics

Responsibilities

  • Develop interior and exterior proposals for Skyryse vehicles, ranging from broad design themes to component-level design
  • Creating compelling sketches and renderings that show a vision for the future of Skyryse vehicles that will be used in presentations and press-releases
  • Work with engineering to come up with design and engineering solutions for various vehicle types
  • Leverage your creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills to push the boundaries of design and innovation in aviation
  • Work cross-functionally with other Skyryse teams to accomplish project goals
  • Occasionally participate in design efforts outside of your area of expertise as necessary and as your skillset dictates
