Requirements

  • Masters degree or above in thermal & energy related majors
  • 5+ years experience in datacenter cooling design (liquid cooling design experience preferred)
  • Familiar with thermal and mechanical parts manufacture process, system level assembly process preferred
  • Build CFD model of GPU/power components/boards and systems
  • Calibrate CFD model and compare different solutions’ thermal performance
  • Co-work with ME to build proE model of thermal solution, call for prototype sample
  • Setup platform to verify prototype sample thermal performance and calibrate CFD model
  • Capability of solving problems, work with partners in factory to debug thermal related issues
  • Good English communication skill
  • Ways to stand out
  • Rich experience in rack level products thermal design, especially LC solution
  • Willing to take responsibility and want to be excellent in thermal design work

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analysis products requirements and possible needs, provide thermal solution for NV products
  • Use CFD tools to design and optimize thermal solutions
  • Analysis and qualify acoustic performance of thermal solutions
  • Balance thermal/acoustic/mechanical/reliability/schedule and cost of thermal solution
  • Conduct qualification test of thermal solutions
  • Search and study new technology, design and setup related test platforms to apply new tech in our products
  • Debug root cause of thermal related issues, improve thermal design process
  • Communicate with global team members in English
  • Support manufactory side thermal issues
