Requirements

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands-on work experience
  • Communication skills with an ability to execute verbal or written instructions
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and test instrumentation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize based on due dates or importance
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Availability to start on May 18, 2026, and participate through August 7, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Work within multi-discipline team to qualify prototype machines in advance of production (mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, software systems)
  • Assist with test plans then perform test setups, including building prototypes, instrumentation, and fixturing
  • Gather, analyze and document test results, including failure analysis
  • Opportunities to gain a deeper understanding through hands on use of: test instrumentation, data acquisition equipment, thermal imaging, accelerometers, sound level meters, force measurement equipment, strain gauges, LabVIEW, Creo, and safety standards
  • Collaborate across all functions of the business and learn what it takes to be part of a great team
