Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a geographical area to target, penetrate, and establish relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Effectively call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, etc., across multiple medical subspecialties.
  • Manage hybrid relationships through a mix of in-person and virtual engagement, leveraging next-generation working methods for efficiency.
  • Effectively call on retail pharmacies, both chain and independent.
  • Utilize data sources to maximize strategies and efficiencies, capitalizing on opportunities with the greatest ROI.
  • Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.
  • Manage and track territory-specific information through a CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare Industry sales experience.
  • Demonstrated growth in sales while managing your own territory, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Business acumen, comprehension of clinical information, and the ability to articulate a clinical sales message to Healthcare Providers.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and virtual engagement skills.
  • Ability to work with a CRM tool (e.g., Veeva).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.).

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • While performing duties, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; talk and/or hear.
  • May occasionally climb stairs and/or ride elevators.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Employee must be able to manipulate a keyboard, operate a telephone, and hand-held devices.
  • Other miscellaneous job duties as required.
