Position Overview

This role provides leadership and direction regarding all Abbott interactions with strategic accounts, acting as a trusted advisor. The position involves leading and coaching in a matrix management environment, persuading and influencing teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach in a matrix management environment through persuasion and personal influence to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Follow and flawlessly execute the strategic account management (SAM) process.
  • Establish and build a deep understanding of account needs, stakeholders, and competitive situations.
  • Build and lead internal cross-functional selling teams to execute account strategies.
  • Analyze the impact of market trends and factors on customers.
  • Develop strategic account plans for achieving goals, including sales and margin.
  • Identify new business opportunities by initiating, developing, or delivering unique solutions that result in improved outcomes for the customer and company.
  • Negotiate long-term contracts.
  • Oversee the progress of cross-functional implementation teams (post-sale).
  • Identify new business opportunities to expand current Core Diagnostics share.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in clinical/medical.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare/diagnostics industry (preferred).
  • Strong solution selling and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong people sense of key stakeholders and customer dynamics.
  • Extensive experience managing strategic accounts/key accounts.
  • Experience working with senior-level executives.
  • Ability to influence team member activities without direct reporting relationships.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Good learning agility.
  • Openness to accepting new concepts/selling models.
