Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Accounting or related field preferred)
  • 0-2 years of Tax and/or Cash Management experience preferred
  • Experience with daily cash positioning, funding of bank accounts and short-term investments, and prior use of a Treasury Workstation preferred
  • California Registered Tax Preparer (CRTP) holder or working toward designation a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong knowledge of Excel
  • Strong organization and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail while ensuring security of confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of daily cash position and funding requirements
  • Analyzing financing and investing needs
  • Managing treasury functions and platforms
  • Assisting in performing strategic long term cash flow analysis
  • Maintaining tax records
  • Assisting in preparation of federal, state, and local tax compliance
  • Inputting financial information into tax software applications and models
  • Assisting with financial and tax related preparation and filing
  • Supporting the team with various tax and cash processes
  • Overseeing monitoring of wire and bank transfers
  • Administering bank related software and programs like Kyriba Treasury Workstation
  • Managing bank accounts
  • Assisting in cash movement
  • Administration of corporate cards
  • Preparation of tax related documents, like workpapers, returns, and projections
  • Assisting with filing extensions
  • Maintaining Secretary of State annual filings and renewals of business licenses
  • Using data and analytics to assist in long term cash flow analysis
  • Researching new products to enhance strategy of cost-effective and efficient Treasury services
  • Identifying opportunities and creating scalable solutions
  • Assisting in the collection of unclaimed property
  • Maintaining the administration of Corporate payables and authorizations
  • Maintaining various lines of credit, CD, and money market accounts
  • Assisting in IRS, FTB or various county audits
