Requirements

  • Lead Supply Chain Quality across several sites for Robotic Equipment, Power Tools, and Digital Solutions
  • Establish and maintain Quality System procedures and controls ensuring product quality conforms to company and regulatory standards (FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO13485, EU MD Directive/Regulations, Japan JPAL, Canada CMDCAS, Brazil ANVISA, Australia TGA, and others)
  • Ensure manufacturing plants and distribution centers effectively assess the Quality System through Management Review/Internal Audits and implement corrective/preventive and improvement actions, driving outcomes through collaboration
  • Ensure Supply Chain has resources with appropriate competencies to execute the Quality System
  • Establish and monitor metrics for Quality Indicators and Financials, ensure timely escalations of quality topics, and hold accountability for the metrics
  • Be responsible for the disposition of products or materials that do not meet standards and specifications
  • Oversee inspections prior to processing raw materials/components, monitoring of environmental conditions, and validation of manufacturing and clean/control room processes prior to sterilization (as applicable)
  • Initiate actions to correct or prevent nonconformities and direct/control further processing and delivery of nonconforming products
  • Ensure flawless Design transfer and commercialization of New Products Development (NPD)
  • Provide the voice of Supply Chain to evolve NPD Launch procedures in the QMS and business processes
  • Partner with R&D, Operations, Regulatory & Marketing to assure all NPD Quality deliverables are met within cost, quality, and schedule targets
  • Manage Supply Chain Quality Engineering resources and allocate across NPD projects to support business objectives
  • Be a transformative leader for a fast-growing platform, regularly update the Quality strategy, and develop transformative projects

Responsibilities

  • Lead Supply Chain Quality across several sites for our suite of Robotic Equipment, Power Tools, and Digital Solutions (onsite in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, with hybrid considerations)
  • Ensure the Quality system is in accordance with applicable regulatory standards
  • Drive effective Quality System assessment and implementation of actions through collaboration rather than unilateral enforcement
  • Ensure appropriate resourcing and competencies in Supply Chain for Quality System execution
  • Establish, monitor, and own accountability for Quality and Financial metrics, with timely escalations
  • Handle disposition of non-conforming products or materials
  • Oversee raw material/component inspections, environmental monitoring, and process validations
  • Initiate corrective/preventive actions for nonconformities and control nonconforming product processing/delivery
  • Ensure flawless NPD design transfer and commercialization
  • Evolve NPD Launch procedures in QMS and business processes as the Supply Chain voice
  • Partner cross-functionally (R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Marketing) to meet NPD Quality deliverables on cost, quality, and schedule
  • Manage and allocate Supply Chain Quality Engineering resources for NPD projects
  • Serve as transformative leader, updating Quality strategy and developing enabling projects for platform growth
