Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an Architectural Technology or Structural Technology program (diploma/degree)
  • Knowledge of structural design principles, materials, and construction practices
  • Familiarity with CAD, Revit, or other engineering design software
  • Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation using Revit and/or BIM software
  • Conduct site visits to observe construction progress, collect data, and perform field measurements
  • Participate in the preparation of reports, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Help review shop drawings and contractor submissions for accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and project managers on day-to-day project tasks
  • Ensure work adheres to applicable codes, standards, and safety practices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support project delivery
