Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Architectural Technology or Structural Technology program (diploma/degree)
- Knowledge of structural design principles, materials, and construction practices
- Familiarity with CAD, Revit, or other engineering design software
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation using Revit and/or BIM software
- Conduct site visits to observe construction progress, collect data, and perform field measurements
- Participate in the preparation of reports, specifications, and cost estimates
- Help review shop drawings and contractor submissions for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and project managers on day-to-day project tasks
- Ensure work adheres to applicable codes, standards, and safety practices
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support project delivery
