Position Overview

You will join our Finance team, which provides expertise and support to our five business verticals. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, you will help them overcome obstacles by understanding their goals and challenges, enabling them to focus on what truly matters – helping our teams reach their full potential.

This position reports to Xplor’s VP of Global Procurement and requires a highly analytical, proactive, organized, and problem-solving individual. The Sourcing Associate needs strong communication skills, effective business partnering abilities, and the capacity to drive cost improvement.

The Sourcing team is responsible for effective supplier negotiations, identifying savings opportunities, and creating workflows for procuring goods and services while ensuring policy compliance. The candidate must demonstrate good business judgment, be comfortable working with data, and succeed even with imperfect or incomplete information. They will execute within defined guidelines (policy, timing, budget, scope, etc.). This position frequently interacts with Xplor’s senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Procure to Pay system in conjunction with the AP team.
• Create and report on spend data analysis.
• Drive cost reductions while ensuring Xplor's sourcing supports and grows the business.
• Manage supplier engagements from concept through execution, including scope definition, RFP processes, negotiations, supplier selection, contract execution, and supplier migration/implementation.
• Maintain a funnel of savings opportunities, identifying and tracking them, and documenting sourcing priorities and roadmaps.
• Maintain a savings achievement tracker, synchronized with finance for forecasting.
• Reporting: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), preferred supplier adoption, exception reporting, and business partner reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Xplor policy and standards, including Terms and Conditions (payment terms, break clauses, engaging legal for standard wording, disclosures, business partner inputs, proper contact approvals, Procurement policy, etc.).
• Ensure contracts and commercial agreements are followed and recorded in the Xplor contract repository.
